A Glasgow, Mo. resident, 100-year-old Hazel Engel, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Survivors include three sons: Floyd Engel (and wife Mary Jo) of Independence, Clyde Engel (and wife Sandy) of Columbia, and Dallas Engel (and wife Debbie) of Gallatin; five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are two brothers: Arthur Lyons of Kingsville and Richard Lyons (and wife Barbara) of Oak Grove, and one sister, Ora Mae Monnig of Blue Springs.

Funeral will take place 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Salem Lutheran Church in Forest Green, with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Burial will follow in the Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to Salem Lutheran Church.
