La Vera L. Gann, 72, of Sedalia, MO, formerly of Marshall, died Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Sylvia G. Thompson Residence Center in Sedalia.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2024, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating.  Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Friday at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.  Memorials are suggested to family choice and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.

Born April 17, 1952, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Ewell Hayslip Sr. and Mary Frances Moore Hayslip.  La Vera lived in Marshall most of her life where she was a graduate of Marshall High School.  On May 31, 1975 she married Roy E. Gann who preceded her in death on November 24, 2001.  In addition to being a homemaker for her family, La Vera worked and retired from Con-Agra in Marshall.

Survivors include one son, Chris Gann (Janelle); two grandchildren, Sean and Ryan; two brothers, Raymond and Ron Hayslip; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers: James, Lloyd Jr., John and Richard Hayslip.
