The Missouri Department of Transportation is in the midst of a resurfacing project for a major highway through Northeast Missouri.
Crews are resurfacing U.S. Route 63 between the junctions of U.S. Route 24 in Moberly and Route 22 outside Sturgeon. Work will take place Mondays through Saturdays between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., until the targeted completion date of December 1st.
Also in Randolph County, three more culverts are set for replacement this week along Route AA east of Higbee. The roadway will be closed Wednesday, October 2nd from a mile north of Route B to one-and-a-half miles south of County Road 2580. Crews will then replace culverts between County Roads 2580 and 2680 on Thursday and Friday. The roadway will close on these three days between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., weather permitting.
