Sedalia’s public works division will begin a weeklong project Monday, Oct. 14 to resurface a street in the southern part of the city.

Crews will begin milling and overlaying South Park Avenue south from 32nd Street to the city limits, beginning that morning at 6 a.m. The project is expected to wrap up Friday, Oct. 18. The road will be closed to through traffic when crews are present, between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. Drivers will need to use an alternate route around the closure, and residents living along South Park will need to coordinate with crews on site to determine access to their driveways.

Inclement weather or equipment breakdowns could delay completion of the project.  This project was initially scheduled to begin Oct. 7, but pushed back a week.
