A two-vehicle accident in the northern part of Marshall sent one of the drivers to an area hospital.

Marshall Police responded to the crash around 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at the intersection of Route 240 and Odell. According to police, a car driven by Linzee Rank was heading north on Odell, when officers say her vehicle failed to stop at a posted stop sign. Rank’s car entered the intersection, colliding with a westbound car driven by Gary Bowlen, causing Bowlen’s vehicle to leave the roadway. Police say that Bowlen reported a cut on his head as well as his chest hurting, and he was taken to a nearby hospital, while Rank had minor injuries.

Saline County Ambulance and Marshall Fire also responded to the accident.
