Friends of Marshall Public Library is holding a book sale on Saturday, October 12 at the Municipal Court Building.

The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Marshall Public Library Director Matt Rahner says the sale will have something for readers of all ages and interests.

Most hardback books will be sold for $1, while paperbacks will be 50 cents. Friends of Marshall Public Library member Ginger McGraw says the money raised from the book sale will help fund the organization.

Members of the organization will be able to participate in the “Sneak Peek” pre-sale from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 11. Those interested in joining Friends of Marshall Public Library can do so by paying the $5 dues at the door Friday night.

The Marshall Public Library is also hosting a digital photography workshop presented by the Saline County Photography Club from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 12. All ages and experiences levels are welcome to this free event.
