The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is accepting applications for funds from its Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grants.
A total of $2.36 million is available from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law through the program to cities and counties for projects that encourage energy efficiency, energy conservation, and reduced emissions. The funds are available for polities that are not eligible for direct federal formula funds. Applicants may request grants between $100,000 and $500,000 for eligible projects, but must be for work that has not already taken place. No cost match is required.
Additional information, including how to apply for the grants, are available on DNR’s website. Applications are due Dec. 12. DNR says they are offering direct technical assistance for potential applicants via e-mail at energy@dnr.mo.gov.
