The Marshall High School Debate Squad attended its first competition of the school year at Blue Springs this past weekend.

The competition was held at Blue Springs High School and Blue Springs South High School. Maya Mackey took 4th place in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, out of a total of 65 entries.

The team’s next tournament will be held November 1-2 at Lee’s Summit North High School.
