The Warrensburg Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Tourism Development program is now accepting applications.

The program was established to provide startup funding to nonprofits hosting events, programs, and sporting events that promote the development and growth of overnight tourism in Warrensburg.

The WCVB Tourism Development program has awarded more than $60,000 to nonprofits. The program is funded by the occupancy tax paid by those who utilize the services of Warrensburg hotels.

The grant application deadline is 5 p.m. Monday, November 11. Sponsorship applications are accepted as funds allow. Guidelines for each category can be found at VisitWarrensburg.com under the About Section: Tourism Development.
