Another seven golfers have booked their spots at MSHSAA’s state golf tournaments next week across Southern Missouri.

Three golfers from Warrensburg secured individual spots at the Class Three, District Four tournament Monday at Eagles’ Landing Golf Course in Belton. Lillie Mannering led the Tigers with an 86, eight strokes behind district champion Jaycie Lowery of Capital City. Mannering’s teammates Marissa Kennish and Avrie Fox also secured spots in the state tournament with scores respectively of 108 and 109. As a team Warrensburg finished fifth with 424. One Marshall golfer advanced to state, Breanna Mach. The Class Three state tournament takes place next Monday and Tuesday at the Rivercut Golf Course in Springfield.

Three area golfers advanced from the Class Two, District Two tournament in Eldon. Karagyn Cooper of Boonville shot an 87, good for third individually, while Lyla Best led Richmond with an 89. Also advancing from Richmond was Karoline Dooley with a 97. Avery Wells of Eldon was the top individual medalist with a 75, leading Eldon to the district title with a team score of 379. Richmond was fifth with a 417. Moberly finished tenth and Oak Grove was 11th. The Class Two state tournament is also next Monday and Tuesday, but at the Fremont Hill Country Club in Nixa.
