
The Saline County Commission chambers will be a hub of activity Wednesday, Oct. 16 as three meetings are scheduled for the morning.
The Commission will have a special meeting Wednesday at 9 a.m. to sign contracts with Westport Construction of Clinton to build the visitors’ center at the southeast corner of the Marshall Junction. The building is expected to cost $1.6 million. Then at 10 a.m., Develop Saline County will have its quarterly meeting. The board will then adjourn to closed session around 10:30 a.m. to discuss a potential real estate transaction.
