Glasgow Schools will use a grant to purchase a new dishwasher.

At Wednesday night’s meeting, the board of education reviewed bids for a new dishwasher, and selected the bid from Meyer Laboratories. The board also voted to issue the final payment to Performance Services for the HVAC and lighting project. The district is still making loan payments for the project to UMB Bank and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.

Board members also reviewed and discussed several reports. The Gerding, Korte, and Chitwood accounting firm presented Glasgow’s annual audit report for the previous school year, which the board accepted. Discussion and review also took place of the district’s administrative evaluation tool, as well as survey information pertaining to an updated description of the title for the district’s campus. The board motioned to delay any surveying work until the district receives further information.

Glasgow’s next school board meeting is November 20th at 7 p.m.
