The Sweet Springs Board of Aldermen approved the Transient Guest Tax Application and an appointment to the Planning and Zoning Board during its meeting on Monday, October 14.

The board reviewed the 2025 Transient Guest Tax application, approving final changes to it before making it available for pick up. The board voted to add a line to the application stating that no application would be accepted after the due date without a written explanation. The approved the availability of the application once the extra verbiage was added, with the due date being set at January 17, 2025.

Mayor Francis Vaught then appointed Barry Keck to the Planning and Zoning Board, which aldermen approved with a unanimous vote.
