Two Warsaw residents suffered moderate injuries after a vehicle pulled into their path at a Sedalia intersection Wednesday, Oct. 17.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the two-vehicle accident on Route 65 at the intersection with Elm Hills Road around 11:40 a.m. According to the patrol, a car driven by a Shawnee, Kansas man was turning onto U.S. Route 65, when he pulled into the path of a northbound car driven by 40-year-old Larry Tenold, resulting in Tenold’s vehicle striking the other car. Tenold and a passenger in his car, 38-year-old Elizabeth Tenold, were taken to a nearby hospital.

Troopers say neither of them were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash. The driver from Kansas had no reported injuries and was wearing their seat belt.
