16 students from Marshall High School participated in West Central District Honor Choirs (9th/10th Grade, 11th/12th Grade Treble, and All-District) on Saturday, October 19.
The eight All-District members competed and auditioned for All-State honors. Competing against 162 others, Eliza Papreck (Alto) and Johnsner Earnest (Tenor) were awarded All-State Honorable Mention. This qualifies them for the MCDA Festival Choir this coming summer.
Marshall High School Choir Director Michael O’Neill says he is proud of MHS Choir students for their hard work and performances.
Daniel Butner, Berdon Umwech, Dulce Coronado, Serenity Kays, Chenuli Jayasundera, Alyssia Eckerle-Fletes, Bailey Riley, Kady Dickson-Sayers, Deaginn Slusher, Fisher Gaba, Nevaeh Frame, Saxon Post, and Caleb Wagner also represented MHS.
