
An Odessa man suffered serious injuries after his pickup went off the roadway south of the city Sunday, Oct. 20.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the accident in Lafayette County on Route OO west of the intersection with Eds Road around 7:20 p.m. Sunday evening. According to the patrol, 48-year-old Timothy Kelsey went off the right side of the roadway as he was driving westbound. Kelsey overcorrected, striking an embankment and overturning the pickup, resulting in Kelsey being thrown from the vehicle. He was taken to a Kansas City area hospital with serious injuries. troopers say Kelsey was not wearing his seat belt.
