
All-conference selections for softball are in for the Central Activities Conference, with four Cairo Bearcats leading the first team.
The conference’s coaches named senior Avery Brumley, juniors Olivia Cross and Mallori Hankins, and sophomore Chloe Brumley to the first team. Conference champions New Franklin have three selections, including conference MVP Brynn Belstle, along with senior Emersyn Eads and junior Lily Chitwood. Glasgow also landed three on the first team: juniors Halle Fuemmeler and Brooklynn Morris, along with sophomore Aynslie Locke. Cairo and New Franklin also lauded a pair of players each with an honorable mention.
