With two weeks to go until Election Day, no-excuse absentee voting is now available for Missouri voters.
Saline County Clerk Brittni Burton has a couple of reminders for the county’s registered voters that wish to complete their civic duty prior to the Nov. 5 election.
Burton also reminds voters that her office will open the Saturday morning prior to the election.
Burton says two deadlines are also approaching, the first being Wednesday, Oct. 23, when requests for absentee ballots by mail are due.
The other deadline approaching is Friday, Oct. 25 at 5 p.m., when prospective write-in candidates must declare their candidacy to their election authority’s office or the Missouri Secretary of State.
