The 21st ranked Mizzou Tigers have another Top-25 clash ahead of them Saturday, Oct. 26 when they visit Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa to face the 15th-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. Pregame coverage on KMMO-FM 102.9 will begin at 12:30. Kickoff is at 2:30.

Meanwhile, the Missouri Valley Vikings are in the midst of Homecoming, as they prepare to welcome seventh-ranked Benedictine to Volney C Ashford Stadium. Pregame coverage on KMMO AM 1300 begins at 1:30, with kickoff at 2 p.m.

HIGH SCHOOL PLAYOFF BRACKETS

MSHSAA fall softball quarterfinals take place this afternoon.  In Class One, the Cairo Bearcats visit Paris, with first pitch at 1 p.m.  It’s also a 1 p.m. first pitch in Carrollton for the defending champion Trojans, as they host Mid-Buchanan in a Class Two quarterfinal.  In Class Three, Oak Grove will take on Savannah at Missouri Western State University’s softball complex in St Joseph.  First pitch there is 2 p.m.

Two volleyball districts continue Saturday.  Quarterfinal action in Class Five, District Five sees seventh-seeded Smith-Cotton look to upset conference foes Columbia Battle, while the Class Two, District 15 this afternoon in Adrian sees the hosts face top-seeded Lone Jack.
