Cheryl Zimny, age 75, of Carrollton, Missouri, died Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at her home.

She was born October 1, 1949, in Carrollton, Mo., the daughter of Harold Arthur and Martha E. (Myrick) Wright. She married Ronald Chester Steven Zimny. He precedes her in death.

Cheryl graduated from Brunswick High School and worked as a program specialist for the Missouri Valley Action Agency. After retiring from Missouri Valley Action Agency, she worked at the Saline County Courthouse for a brief time. She loved quilting, reading, gardening, and sewing.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jody Falke, and husband Brent, of Carrollton, Mo., Gina Mayer, and husband Stevie, of Triplett, Mo., a son, Brian Wright, of Marshall, Mo.; a brother, Kenny Wright, and wife Ronda, of Triplett, Mo.; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one on the way;  and special friend, Kelly Mayer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 28, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at the Bittiker Funeral Home with Funeral Services following at 2:00 p.m.

Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Dewitt, Mo.

Funeral services are under the direction of the Bittiker Funeral Home.
