The Santa Fe R-X Board of Education has accepted the retirement of a longtime counselor in the district.

The board voted to accept the retirement of Jennifer Hobbs during the executive session of their regular meeting Oct. 10. Superintendent Derek Lark commended Hobbs for her many years of service to Santa Fe Schools.

Santa Fe R-X has posted the opening for Hobbs’ successor on the district’s website.
