Victoria Fogarty is running as a write-in candidate for Chariton County Sheriff.

The Chariton County Clerk’s office has confirmed that Fogarty filed to serve as a write-in candidate for the November 5 General Election. Incumbent Erick Billups is on the ballot running for re-election

Missouri state law says a write-in candidate’s name is not printed on the ballot, nor is their name posted at the polling place. The write-in candidate’s name must be spelled correctly for the vote to count. Write-in candidates had to file with their county’s election authority by the deadline on Friday, October 25.
