The board also approved the purchase of a Bobcat UW56 utility vehicle for $99,571. Fraley says the vehicle will help maintain the new athletic facilities at Smith-Cotton High School.
District officials opted to not go forward with the purchase of a new track loader, saying that they will instead pursue a used one with a ceiling of $50,000. Also at Monday’s meeting, the Sedalia school board approved a second change order on the athletics complex at a net cost of $307,168, and accepted a matching grant for $93,691 from GameTime to purchase additional playground equipment for Sedalia Middle School.
