A Foristell man experienced moderate injuries after his pickup truck collided with a road sign in the median of a Johnson County highway late Wednesday, Oct. 30.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that 70-year-old Gordon Negus was driving east on U.S. Route 50 just before the junction with Route 13, when at around 11:15 p.m. his truck ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a road sign. Negus was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
