Both teams recorded 21 shots on goal. Garnet Hathaway opened the scoring in the first period with a wrist shot to give the hosts the lead. Nathan Walker recorded his first goal of the year with a wrist shot of his own halfway through the third period to even the game up for the Blues.
The Blues return to St Louis having fallen to sixth in the Central Division standings, with a 5-6-0 record. The next five games are at home, with the Toronto Maple Leafs and former Blues skipper Craig Berube paying a visit to the Enterprise Center on Saturday night. Puck drop is at 6 p.m.
