A Warrensburg man was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 50 on Friday, November 1.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by a 56-year-old Warrensburg man struck the rear of a vehicle driven by a 77-year-old Sedalia resident as they were traveling eastbound on Highway 50 in Johnson County.

The Warrensburg man suffered serious injuries in the crash and was taken to Research Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The accident occurred at 8:45 p.m. on Highway 50, near Route D in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says that it will no longer reveal the names of those involved in motor vehicle crashes will no longer be reported to protect the involved parties from being targeted by scam incidents.
