Colton Parayko’s two goals in the second period provided the St Louis Blues’ margin of victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Enterprise Center. The 4-2 victory for the Notes snapped a three-game skid in their return home.

After allowing the Leafs to score in the first period, the Blues went on the board three-and-a-half minutes into the second period with Parayko’s slap shot. Jordan Kyrou gave the Blues the lead five minutes later with an unassisted wrist shot, followed by Parayko’s ultimate game winner. The two teams exchanged goals in the third, with Parayko assisting Pavel Buchnevich’s empty netter to seal the game.

Toronto showed aggressive game play in skipper Craig Berube’s first trip back to St Louis since he was let go by the team he led to the 2019 Stanley Cup. The Leafs recorded 37 shots on goal to the Blues’ 24, and won 65 percent of the faceoffs.

The Blues are back to fifth in the Central Division with 12 points. They next host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday.
