Two Pettis County men suffered moderate injuries after a rollover wreck in Cass County early Sunday, Nov. 3.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the two men, the 20-year-old driver from Sedalia and a 20-year-old passenger from Smithton, were in a pickup driving south on Route 7 around 1:20 a.m. Troopers say that at the intersection with Elliot Road, south of Pleasant Hill, the pickup went off the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned. Both men were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. It’s not known if either man was wearing their seatbelt at the time of their crash.

Per a recent policy change, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is now withholding the names of persons involved in a motor vehicle accident, citing an increase in attempts by scammers to defraud accident victims and their families.
