The Marshall High School Debate Squad competed in the Lee’s Summit North Speech and Debate Tournament this past weekend, having several of its members perform well.

Jasmine Davis advanced to the semifinals in Prose Reading, placing 8th overall. Aliesha Ernest placed 12th overall in Prose Reading.

The team’s next tournament is scheduled for November 8 and 9 at Grain Valley High School.
