Linda Sue Park, 66, of Marshall, Mo was called home to be with her lord and savior on Sunday, November 3rd, 2024, at the Living Center in Marshall, MO.

Linda fought her disease for several years with strength and courage and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.

Born July 8th, 1958 in Kansas City, MO, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Deiter and Annie Deiter. Born and raised in Kansas City, MO; she graduated with honors from Southeast High School in 1976. This is where she met her first husband, Ronald Park, the father of her two children and worked for the government for 20 years as a program specialist.

Linda eventually followed her heart to Marshall, MO in 1995 where she finished raising her children and became a paralegal, a career she found great passion in for another 20 years. This is where she met her current husband, Gregory Scott Huggins, “Scotty”, who survives of the home. After spending several years together they were united in love on July 19th, 2014.  Linda and Scotty shared a passion for visiting every thrift store, flea market, and antique mall on their path.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Daniel Park and Christina Riley (Doug) both of Marshall; 4 grandchildren – Lillianna Park, Elliott Park, Declan Riley, and Hazel Riley. 4 Sisters – Anee Johnston, Sandy Villarrell, Carmen Deiter, and Anabel Sneary. Also by her Mother figure – Karen Huggins and  by several nieces, nephews and so many other loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Terry McCaffery, and a granddaughter, Tenley Park.

Linda loved spending time with her grandchildren and in the outdoors. She spent much of her free time on family camping trips, mushroom hunts, fishing, and tending her gardens.  She was a loving and protective mother and grandmother who raised her children to be the very same. She loved to spend time with her sisters and their children with whom she went on many adventures. Linda loved and cared for every soul she encountered, be it an animal or humankind alike. She had a passion for helping people and animals and was loved by so many.

Family and friends are asked to join in a celebration of life in her honor in Kansas City, Mo. Date and location to be announced at a later date.
