Marshall Mayor Vince Lutterbie issued a proclamation declaring November as National DECA Month.

Lutterbie visited with members of the chapter at the Saline County Career Center during a visit to City Hall last week. He tells KMMO News that the students were eager to learn more about city government and to talk about their projects.

DECA members are spending the month organizing activities and tours aimed at promoting the organization, ranging from a mock election and career fair to a food packing event, and even a tour of the KMMO studios Friday morning.
