The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is warning of heavy traffic Wednesday, Nov. 13 around Holden, nearly all of it horse-drawn.

In a Facebook post Monday, the department advises that a large wedding in the Amish community Wednesday is expected to draw over 450 guests. They say that will result in increased buggy traffic along Routes 58, O and U. The sheriff’s office reminds motorists to exercise caution and vigilance to ensure the safety of everyone on the road.
