A number of boards of aldermen and school boards are set to meet Tuesday, Nov. 12 for their monthly regular meetings.

The Fayette Board of Aldermen is expected to give first and second reading to their proposed ordinance amending the city’s code concerning historic buildings when they meet Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. Two alleyway vacation requests are also on the agenda, along with two requests for a sewer waiver, a reappointment to the Fayette housing authority board, and a business license. Odessa’s Board of Aldermen gather at 7 p.m., with a right-of-way agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers up for consideration.

The Moberly School District Board of Education will meet at 5:30 p.m. to review a proposal to establish a daycare called “Little Spartans Clubhouse”, as well as proposals for the site of the former East Park school. Marshall’s school board also meets Tuesday at 6 p.m., with action expected on a real estate purchase next to the Tom Butterfield Early Childhood Center, as well as a contract extension for use of the former Southeast Elementary property and the selection for an excavation company at the Northeast campus. And the Carrollton R-VII School Board meets at 7 p.m., with the annual reports expected from the Library Media Center and Fine Arts department.
