Steven Walter Rife, 62, of Marshall, died Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 15, 2024, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with the Rev. Wayne Doolin officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday prior to the   service. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to family choice in care of the funeral home. Steven was born October 9, 1962, in Kansas City, MO, to the late Lingle Arnold Rife and Janice Ann (Lindell) Rife. Steven was a 1981 graduate of Marshall High School, worked at the sheltered workshop, Walmart and at the Marshall Senior Center in Marshall. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marshall and lived in the area most of his life. Steven married Elizabeth Ann Conger on May 15, 1996 and she survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, survivors include three children, Jedidiah Walter Rife and Timothy Lingle Rife both of Marshall and Marybeth Sue Goff (Troy) of Slater, MO; two grandchildren, Rayven and Ezra Goff; two step-grandchildren, Baliegh and Wylee Goff; two sisters; Linda Marler and Karen Bays both of Bolivar, MO; and several nieces and nephews.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Timothy Lingle Rife and Lingle Rife Jr.; and one sister, Hazel Mae Rife.
