The Carrollton School District Board of Education announced that candidate filing for the April 8, 2025, election will begin in December.

Superintendent Tinna Croy reported that there are two board seats up for election in April. Croy says filing begins Tuesday, December 10.

The offices will be open December 10-20 on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The office will reopen on New Year’s Eve on Tuesday, December 31 for the last day of filing.

In other news, the board reviewed three mower bids and approved the purchase of a John Deer mower in the amount of $12,500. The board also reviewed 2024 MSBA Policy updates and plans to approve them at its December meeting.
