A replacement project is scheduled to begin on a Carroll County bridge in December.

The Carroll County Missouri Route J bridge over Bridge Creek, located west of Hale, is scheduled to close Monday, December 2. The project to replace the bridge is expected to continue through April 2025.

During construction, motorists will need to find an alternate route. The Bridge Creek Bridge was built in 1932 and has a traffic volume of approximately 487 vehicles per day. The full list of bridges to be replaced can be found on the Northwest Bridge Bundle web page.

All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
