The Higginsville Board of Aldermen approved an amendment to an agreement with McClure Engineering during its meeting on Monday, November 18.

The city has an agreement with McClure Engineering for the Higginsville Wastewater Treatment Plant and Pump Station design. The board had to approve an amendment in the contract due to changes throughout the design period, which led to the contract amount being reduced by $127,350.

The board then approved the appointment of Elizabeth Nolte to the Planning Commission and Planning Commission representative for Historic Preservation Commission.

Also, the board recognized Denetta Amor for 20 years of service as a police officer.
