
The Professional Women’s Hockey League has announced that St Louis will be one of nine cities the league will visit this year to drum up support for the sport.
The league announced Monday, Nov. 18 that Enterprise Center will host a contest between the Boston Fleet and Ottawa Charge. That contest is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. It’ll be the last of nine neutral site games that’s part of the “Takeover Tour”, showcasing professional women’s hockey with stops planned for Seattle, Vancouver, Denver, Quebec City, Buffalo, Raleigh, N.C., and Detroit. A third Canadian site will be announced at a later date.
The Professional Women’s Hockey League formed last year with teams in Boston, Minnesota, Montréal, New York, Ottawa, and Toronto. The new season will begin Nov. 30.
