The Sweet Springs R-7 School District Board of Education accepted the CPA’s annual audit during a recent meeting.
Superintendent Lori Price said the board reviewed the audit report, which only had one blemish for the district.
Price explained that the district does not have separate employees available to handle the general ledger and bank records, but says that she and the board of education are able to review the district’s expenses each month.
In other news, the board held a discussion over a potential spring baseball co-op with a neighboring school district. The board took no action on the measure and will review this at a future meeting.
The board’s next meeting is scheduled for 7 a.m. Thursday, December 12
