Two goals from Kirill Kaprizov in the third period led the Minnesota Wild to a 4-2 victory over the St Louis Blues on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Enterprise Center, sending the Blues to their fifth defeat in six games.

The Wild scored first with Ryan Hartman’s wrist shot 12 minutes into the game. The Blues would equalize early in the second period with a long-distance shot by Scott Perunovich set up by Jordan Kyrou and Zack Bolduc. Kaprizov got his first goal six minutes into the third frame to take the lead back for Minnesota, while Jake Neighbours tied the game back up four minutes later on the power play. Jonas Brodin netted the game winner for the Wild, followed by an empty-netter for Kaprizov’s second goal of the contest with 83 seconds remaining.

The Blues remain sixth in the Central Division on 17 points. They welcome San Jose on Thursday evening with puck drop at 7 p.m.
