
The University of Missouri women’s basketball team quashed St Louis University on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at Mizzou Arena by a 112-59 score, the most points scored by Mizzou in 11 seasons.
The Tigers led early and posted a 55-27 lead at the half, their largest in nearly two years. Their strong defense forced 24 turnovers and claimed 15 steals, while grabbing 49 rebounds. The Billikens were held to under 16 points in each of the first three quarters.
Five Tigers were in double-figures, led by sophomore Abbey Schreacke with 19 points. 15 of those points were from behind the arc. Senior Laniah Randle added a season-high 15 points along with seven rebounds, while sophomore Grace Slaughter chipped in 14 points.
The Mizzou women are now 4-2 on the season. They host the Little Rock Trojans on Friday at 11:30 a.m.
