The Missouri Department of Transportation has closed Route ZZ in Chariton County southeast of Marceline on Thursday, Nov. 21 for a culvert replacement.

The replacement is underway between Parish Road and Clark Road. Crews expect to complete the work by 2 p.m. Until then, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

Motorists are also reminded to slow down and move over in work zones, and to buckle up while keeping their phone down. Updated traffic conditions are available on the Traveler Information Map on MoDOT’s website.
