A truck driver from Georgia suffered serious injuries after a one-vehicle crash along Interstate 70 in Saline County the morning of Friday, Nov. 22.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the 56-year-old man was driving his Freightliner west on the interstate near mile marker 70 when at around 5:45 a.m., the truck went off the right side of the freeway, striking a sign and guardrail before overturning. The driver was taken to a Kansas City area hospital for treatment.
