At least one new face will make an appearance on the Marshall City Council after next spring’s municipal election.
Shortly after the council formally adopted the ordinance Tuesday night that set the election date as April 8, Charles Guthrey announced he would not seek re-election to another term as Ward Three councilman. Guthrey says he’s proud to have helped the city achieve several developments during his eight years on the council.
Guthrey has this advice for the next councilman from Ward Three.
Candidate filings for each of Marshall’s four wards opens Dec. 10 and continues through Dec. 31.
