A Stover man was killed after a truck turned into the path of his motorcycle Sunday, Nov. 24 outside Versailles.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the 39-year-old man was riding his Harley-Davidson bike west on Route 52 near the intersection with Route 5, when after 5:30 p.m., a pickup driven by a 77-year-old man from Tipton turned into his path from the eastbound lane, resulting in the collision. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup had no reported injuries but had not been wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, according to troopers.
