Just as the Thanksgiving travel rush begins, the Missouri Department of Transportation has several pothole patching and culvert replacement projects scheduled for the next two days in and near Fayette.

Pothole patching in Howard County is scheduled Tuesday, Nov. 26 and Wednesday, Nov. 27 along Route 5 from Route DD north to Route E or West Davis Street. Route E will have have pothole patching work from Route 5 west to County Road 301. One lane will remain open as crews will flag traffic through the work zone. Also near Fayette, a culvert replacement project is scheduled for Route W between County Roads 400 and 402. One lane will also remain open through this work zone.
