A few area city councils and boards are meeting on Tuesday, November 26.

The Slater School District Board of Education is holding its November meeting at 5 p.m., with plans to prepare the April School Board Election Ballot and approve the 202402025 ASBR. The board also plans to change its meeting times moving forward.

The Fayette Board of Aldermen is meeting at 6 p.m. to discuss numerous new business items. The board will consider updating council salaries, the approval of a yearbook ad to support Fayette High School, and an ordinance regarding restrictions on the use of video gaming machines.

The Lexington City Council is meeting at 7 p.m. to discuss agreements with the Missouri Department of Conservation and the Department of Health and Senior Services. The council is also going to discuss filing dates for the April 8, 2025 General Election.
