Just in time for the Thanksgiving rush, travellers whose journey involves U.S. Route 50 through Knob Noster will have a recently rehabilitated bridge to use.
The Missouri Department of Transportation announced Tuesday, Nov. 26 that the westbound Route 50 bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad has reopened to traffic. However, single lane closures are still in place Wednesday morning in each direction. Those lane closures will also be in place next week as part of the project’s wind down.
The completion of the project will mean that drivers on North Vaughn Street will again be able to access Route 50.
