Marshall Main Street President Rebecca Adams and Vice President Scott Guthrie spoke to KMMO News recently about the organization’s future revitalization and economic development plans for the Marshall Square.

Both Adams and Guthrie expressed interest in repairing and maintaining Marshall’s historic buildings before attempting economic development opportunities on the Square. Adams says this process will begin following the town hall that will be held in early 2025.

Adams also brought up the possibility of creating a building inventory to help plan out the organization’s next steps.

This process was set in motion after the community received the Community Empowerment Service Grant from Missouri Main Street Connection.
