The Missouri Department of Transportation has scheduled general highway maintenance and construction in the area from Monday, December 2 through Sunday, December 8. Weather conditions may postpone scheduled work. Many projects will include lane closures which could cause delays.?

Bridge maintenance is planned on Cooper County Route K at the Blackwater River Creek bridge from Monday through Friday. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone. Bridge construction is also continuing on the new Rocheport Bridge near mile marker 115 on Interstate 70. The new eastbound bridge is scheduled to open to traffic in December 2024.?

In Howard County, culvert replacement work is planned on Route W from County Road 400 to County Road 402 from Monday through Friday. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
